I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. This is the second needle-felted product I have purchased from Gaby / ELDRIScreations as I'm always so pleased with the standard of her items. The details are excellent and he's exceptionally cute - my wife was delighted with it.

I recently purchased this as a surprise for my fiancee. Firstly it arrived the day after being posted which was a very nice surprise. It arrived in a large ish box for the size of it absolutely stuffed with crepe paper with the glass bottle nestled in the middle of it. More than adequate to survive even the worst couriers, yet the overall package (I think the experience begins the moment you open the outer envelope). Finally, the glass bottle is absolutely tiny and somehow two hearts managed to get inside resting on a bed on beads. The hearts are made from a vibrant red wool which has been incredibly well crafted. It's such an exquisite item that came with a had written note where I provided a message on the suggestion of Gaby. My fiancee absolutely loved it and I am more than impressed by it. Thank you again eldrisCREATIONS!

About Loki's Menagerie

Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit Loki's Menagerie! Please feel free to browse the shop. I would love it if you read the text below, to help you understand the history of the shop, the owner and the items. ♥

My name is Gaby Brereton. I am the sole designer and creator for Loki's Menagerie. I first opened the shop when I was a software developer, and now I am a stay at home mum.

What's in a name? Well everything really! The shop was previously called eldrisCREATIONS, and had successful sales before being shut down when I became pregnant in 2017. When my son was a few month's old I decided to reopen the shop to earn some money to spend on him. But I felt the shop's branding needed work.

My husband and I used to own 6 pets. Our family would always jokingly ask how our menagerie was doing. Loki was one of those pets, my first cat. I was suffering with infertility at the time, so I ended up having a deep bond with Loki.

Sadly, Loki died in 2016 when he was struck by a car. 6 months later I discovered I was pregnant. What better way to honour and remember Loki by than naming my business after him?

So why needle felted items? Is "I love it" a good enough answer? I started needle felting in December 2014 after watching a crafty TV show. I wondered what it would be like to make something from wool that hadn't been spun. Heck, I didn't even know you could buy wool in that state! Needless to say, I feel in love with the craft, even with all the times I've stabbed myself with the very sharp needles I use. The first thing I made was a snail with huge eyes and a massive, cheeky grin.

I've always enjoyed arts and crafts and I finally have the opportunity to share my lovingly created items with others. I'm really excited about this chance and by all the potential items that are floating around my head just waiting to be made. I prefer to come up with something new each time I get to working and all my designs are my own, so I sell many truly unique items.

I source high quality materials, to make sure my items are the best quality they can be. I believe that quality is the key to success; no faulty or poor quality parts go in to my items. I also believe in honesty, so I try to make my item descriptions as clear as possible so you know exactly what you're getting.

I promise you that I will do everything I can to ensure you get a fantastic item when buying from my shop. If you find any mistakes in my listings please, please let me know so I can fix them!

A. I live in the UK and I make and ship all my items from here.

Q. How long will it take you to get my order in the post?
A. All orders will be posted in 1-2 weeks, though I aim for 2 business days. I have a young baby so shipping times can vary.

Q. Do you accept refunds?
A. Yes. Please check the Refund Policy section below.

Q. Where do you ship to?
A. I haved shipped exclusively to the UK since 2018.

Q. How long will my item take to arrive?
A. Please see the Delivery Policy section below.

Q. Do you smoke?
A. No, all items are made in a smoke-free environment.

Q. Do you have pets?
A. Yes, we have 1 cat and 2 outdoor rabbits. While every effort is made to keep pet hair off the items, if you have a severe allergy I recommend not buying my items, sadly.

Q. Are your items made to order?
A. No, I make all of my items before they are listed. This means they are ready to ship!

Q. Are your items handmade?
A. Yes! Everything is made by myself. I list all of the base components I use, so you can be sure to know which bits I've put together. If you have any questions about this, please ask.

Q. Do you provide tracking info?
A. Not currently. Everything is sent via Royal Mail 1st Class.

Q. I live outside the UK, can you ship to me?
A. Sorry, no.

• I accept Direct Checkout, Etsy Gift Cards and PayPal payments. Please use whichever you prefer :)

PAYMENT TIME FRAME
• Payment must be received within 3 days of purchase. If payment is not received within this time frame your order will be considered cancelled. Items will not be posted until payment has cleared.

CANCELLATIONS
Purchases may be cancelled up to the point that your dispatch notification is sent. I always aim to post items a few days after receiving an order, so please be prompt with cancellation requests.

Please contact me via Etsy to cancel an order or follow the instructions at https://www.etsy.com/uk/help/article/1945 . After the item has been dispatched you cannot cancel an order, but I operate a fair returns policy (see the Returns Policy section below).

ACCURACY OF DELIVERY ADDRESS
Please ensure your address is correct, as I cannot refund you if you gave me the wrong address.

If you spot you have made a mistake, get in touch ASAP or cancel the order. I can only post to the address Etsy gives me or I lose my seller protection, I hope you can understand. Once the order with the wrong address is cancelled & refunded, please make a new order with the correct address.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
Shipping times can vary depending on season and can be affected by adverse weather. I make no guarantees about arrival dates, but I post using Royal Mail 1st Class which usually arrives within 2 business days.

I currently offer FREE postage on all of my items. This is Royal Mail 1st Class, not 2nd!

OTHER POSTAGE INFO
Items are posted using Royal Mail 1st Class within the UK. This is NOT tracked. If you would like tracked I offer shipping upgrades (these show when the item is in your shopping cart):

MISSING ORDER
If you have not received your order after 14 days please get in touch and we can discuss our options. These will usually be waiting a little longer or issuing a full refund.
